in charge of your laboratory grades. EEE 202 Lab TA information is listed below under Labs and Schedule.

Rules

    1. You MUST register for and regularly attend one of the EEE 202 lab sections.
    2. You must follow the EE-Laboratory Safety Guidelines. (pdf file)
    3. The laboratory is a closed lab. Entry is not allowed without an EEE 202 TA present.
    4. The lab equipment and computers may not be used for any purpose other than the EEE 202 lab.
    5. We do NOT assume that you read the lab materials before the lab session.
    6. Additional rules may be set by Clay Javurek (EE Lab Supervisor) during the semester.

Grading

    Attendance:

    Lab Reports:

Lab reports are assigned in the labs. With the exception of the first report, most will require that the student use SPICE to simulate circuits and situations similar to lab.

Lab reports may NOT be submitted unless you attended the lab.

*Lab Re-take Policy:Important!

It is department policy to allow a student to "transfer" the lab grades received in a recent, prior semester of EEE 202 so long as:

  1. the student had passed the EEE 202 course overall ("D" or better grade), AND
  2. the instructor/professor approves, that is, the decision is at the EEE 202 Course Professor's (not the Lab TA's) discretion.

The student must transfer all the lab grades, including each and every lab, attendance, and final exam score, or otherwise he/she must retake the entire lab---that is, it is transfer everything or nothing. This, of course, assumes that the old scores are still available which may or may not be true. It is the student's responsibility to insure that the scores are available and his/her instructor/professor approves (not the Lab TA), before choosing not to do this semester's labs.

Please contact your EEE 202 COURSE PROFESSOR directly about Lab Re-take Policy...not the Lab Manager since

Lab Manager has no authority to approve or to disapprove your Lab Re-take Requests.
